I crave the area outside my comfort zone - from showering under sulfur spouting hoses in public bathhouses in Georgia, to sweating it out in banyas pitched alongside freezing rivers in the dense forests of Russia, to eating horse meat and sipping fermented camel's milk inside nomads' gers in Mongolia.
