Shingai Kagunda

Shingai is a black girl, a BA English Literature student, a writer, an avid reader, and lover of anything woman, adventure, and African. She was born to Kenyan missionary parents who raised her during her formative years in Zimbabwe.Then moved back to Kenya where she now currently resides. Because of their missionary exploits she traveled a lot around Africa, developing a wanderlusting spirit.She has been to almost fifteen countries in her twenty something years, and hopes to explore a lot more in the future. She has written for a Kenyan Lifestyle blog, Potentash.com. She currently has her own blog, Shingaibelike.com where she tackles issues of being woman and African and attempts to speak out for those whose words get stuck between their hearts and their throats.
