Miek is a simple girl with a limited budget coming from the poor country of Croatia. Her only wish was to see white sandy beaches one day. She was quite disappointed when she first visited a sandy beach in Croatia, and spent 15 years planing her trip to paradise. Now she has seen the white sandy beaches. Now she has seen quite a lot. She really believed once she’d set foot on that sand, she will have seen it all. It would have meant the end of desire, and would have put her to rest. It turns out, she was wrong. It was like a drug to her. Now she has to see more. But it is not only the white and sandy beach. It is the romantic cities of Europe, it is the hidden beaches of the Mediterranean, it is the appealing culture of the Caribbean and the most exotic architecture of Asia. That is truly a problem with travelling. There is no stopping. So now, she saves money for travelling. Budget travelling is always an option and there is always so much one can get for little money. There is no need to be extremely rich to sleep in beautiful places, eat delicious food and get from one place to another. You just have to do your homework right. So this is basically what she does. And she's got no idea how far she's gonna get…. :)
