Melissa Harvey

My name is Melissa (Lissy) Harvey, and I’m a 25 year-old modern-day gypsy, freelance writer and amateur singer-song writer. I'm a Kiwi girl, born and bred, and lover of travel (long and short, fast and slow), local food, writing (and talking…), live music, meeting new people, aeroplane turbulence and taking photos of cranes (the construction machinery… not the bird!) I have an Honours degree in English Literature and a wealth of travel experience from time spent on the road, often for months at a time. To date, I have travelled in New Zealand, Australia, Greece, England, Ireland, The Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, France, Vietnam, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, and Spain.
