Marco den Ouden
I am an avid traveller who enjoys cruising in particular. Retired after 40 years in television broadcast news, my wife and I are travelling more now than ever. Recent trips include a cruise of the Caribbean in January 2015 followed by a week in Orlando. A visit to Perth, Australia in May 2015 and again for three months from Christmas 2015 to March 2016, and a Southeast Asia cruise in January 2016. My favorite trip was a week in Paris in 2011 for our 30th anniversary. Besides writing on travel, I also write on political philosophy and am developing a blog comparing products in a 1962 department store catalogue with products available today. My wife and I live in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, a short hop from Vancouver. We have two adult children. Our son lives in nearby Langley and our daughter lives in Ocean Reef near Perth, Australia.
