Hi, my name is Lucy. I was born in England,when I was eleven years old my parents decided that they didn't want to live in a big city where you could never see the stars, so one weekend they visited for the first time a beautful region called Liguria in Italy. After numerous weekends spent in Tuscany and Liguria they finally fell in love with a small town called Chiavari. So they took the biggest risk ever; they sold their house, packed a van and moved over 1200 km away from home. None of us could speak a word of Italian at the time, I was enrolled in the local school after a week of being in a foreign country and so thats how we started our new life. It wasn't easy in the beginning, the Italians have a habit of making the simpliest thing ten times much more difficult than it should be. But somehow or another we made it through and looking back I wouldn't change a thing. I have now lived in Italy for twelve years, I speak fluent Italian, I have an Italian boyfriend, friends and family that I wouldn't change for the world! If I could use a word to describe the Italian people it would be : passion! in everything they do, they always do it with passion. My passions are Italian cooking and travelling.
