Lucy (aka Petrie) a flaily backpacker with little sense of direction but a great love of travel- a sometimes inconvenient combination which ends me up in some interesting places! I have been fortuntate enough to travel to over forty countries over six continents and have plans of seeing many more. I particularly enjoy travelling within the Balkan countries, having fallen in love with the region on an impromptu trip to Romania four years ago. Since then I have returned every year to explore further and every time I am enchanted by the culture, the people, the scenery, and of course, the food!
