Flaneur. Lover of the sublime, whether that's rotting industrial architecture being reclaimed by nature, ancient monuments, or outlandish geography. More interested in quirky details than big tourist experiences. Once travelled by bus to Moldova, because their Eurovision entries were so intriguing. It was worth it. I've been vegan for many years, and I'm always amazed what people can do with vegetables. Can't live without coffee. Favourite countries include Turkey, former Yugoslav republics and Wales. I speak a little Turkish, Slovenian and Croatian, and near-fluent Cymraeg.
