The basics: I'm a 26-year-old South African living in The Hague in The Netherlands. The details: I like nothing better than a window seat on a short flight to a new European destination I've been dreaming of since I was six (or 26, because, yes, I am hopeless at geography). I'm a Communications and Admin Assistant for an international law organisation and, more importantly, I work in a palace (or, to be more specific, my office is connected to a palace by a library). I'm the kind of traveler who will stop in front of every bakery, food market, door from which good smells hail and seriously consider how many local delicacies I can pack in. I'm also the kind of traveler who can, and sometimes does, spend hours simply basking in scenic surroundings. I hope you enjoy experiencing Europe through my weekend breaks and summer/winter sojourns.
