I travel because life gets incredibly boring when you start to settle down. The mundane acts of everyday life are simply just not good enough. There has to be more. The world is full of adventure, surprise, shock, drama, and beauty. Why would anyone avoid being a part of that? In an attempt to salvage my spirit I decided to move from Cape Town South Africa to South Korea. Here I aimed to spread the joys of English to my eager students while simultaneously learning all that parts of Asia have to offer. In my six years here I have visited numerous countries that have changed my life. I aspire to share these with you in the hope that you begin (or continue) to wonder : "What lurks beyond my door?"
