Writer, traveler & dad joke enthusiast based in Bogotá, Colombia. When I was 12 years old, my family was transferred to Dakar, Senegal. I like to think of this trip as my “travel awakening”, because it sparked in me the desire to just go – as far and for as long as I possibly could. From Gambian meals, to Greek dances, passing through French pastries and finishing at Turkish holidays – I’ve been put to the test in some unbelievable locations. Since then, I’ve backpacked long-term through Europe and South East Asia. I spent the last two years working and living in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This new home became my launching pad for numerous adventures: from the Thai islands to the Indian highways.
