I am a freelance writer who swapped my home town of West Yorkshire in England for the sunshine of Perth, Western Australia some 19 years ago. I adore living in Perth and travelling to different parts of Australia with my family. I love to visit places of historical importance and never stop learning new things about my own back yard. Some of my travel highlights from the past few years include Tasmania, Kalbarri and the Coral Coast of WA, Amsterdam, Munich, Switzerland, Pompeii and getting married in one of my favourite places in the world - Fremantle.
