Alfie Curling

Alfie has spent a lifetime in the bush. Growing up in the Kruger National Park his passion for Wildlife and the outdoors started at a young age. In 2006 Alfie joined CCAfrica now known as &Beyond and started his professional guiding career with them. He worked at Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape for 12 years where he became the Head Guide and trained up his team to get awarded the best guiding team in Africa. He then moved to Cape Town in 2018 to bring his guiding skills to the city. He specialises in Birding and Wildlife but is just as comfortable guiding in the Urban Jungle. Alfie is an avid believer of being active outdoors and leads a number of Hikes including Table Mountain as well as some less well-known hikes on the Cape Peninsula. He is passionate about showing the visitors to this beautiful city all the beautiful and scenic places the city has to offer. He believes that Cape Town and the surrounds has so much more to offer than the typical tourist destinations and loves to share those places with others. He believes in personalised and adaptable trips that accommodate his guests needs, away from the big crowds. Alfie has a number of qualifications through FGASA to back up his experience in guiding. Alfie is also extremely passionate about fishing. When not fishing he is enjoying his other passions of the outdoor world such as Birding, Hiking, Golf and Running.
