Stellenbosch is a mere thirty minutes by car from Cape Town’s CBD. The postcard-pretty university town is also home to South Africa’s most celebrated wine route. What the locals know, and what the tourists are perhaps less privy to, is the fact that Stellenbosch and its wine route is super family friendly. Award-winning wines, gourmet picnics, sight-seeing and once in a lifetime activity options give parents plenty of adult time while the kids have a blast.
