India is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the World attracting tourists from all over the World. And Delhi, India’s Capital City, surely engage the tourists’ attention, not only for the people interested in visiting historic locations or religious places but also for food lovers and shoppers as well. Travelling To and Within Delhi

All the flight lovers can access one of India’s busiest airport- The Indira Gandhi International Airport (popularly named as IGI Airport) to reach Delhi. However, if you are travelling from any of the Indian city to Delhi, I would personally suggest travelling via Indian Railways wherein you can get down to New Delhi Railway Station. If anyone visits Delhi via railways and want to move towards IGI Airport, they can reach the same in just 20 minutes via Airport Express Line.

New Delhi Railway Station is one of the main stations of Northern Railway and is well connected to all other Indian Railway Networks, thus ensuring smooth travelling experiences to passengers. Further, the Delhi Metro very beautifully connects different parts of Delhi and other NCR cities viz. Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad, thus making commutation in between these cities very much convenient and safe and as such commutation within and to nearby cities is no more a point of tension.

Road also offers a great source of commutation for people looking to travel by road. Delhi- Faridabad Skyway, Delhi- Gurgaon Expressway or Yamuna expressway, etc., all have contributed immensely to the infrastructure of roadways and have connected multiple cities like Jaipur. Agra, etc.

Accommodations in Delhi

Delhi Aerocity is very near to IGI Airport and offers a great range of luxury hotels which are very convenient for people travelling to Delhi via IGI Airport for short business trips, etc. Apart from the luxury hotels in Delhi Aerocity, the city witnesses many 5- Star Hotels such as Hotel Ashoka, Hyatt Regency, Taj Hotel, JW Marriott, etc., all being the major chain of hotels offering their services on a global level. Many other affordable accommodations are also available and the tourists can easily opt for any of such accommodations without giving a thought about distance, mode of commutation or availability of eating joints, etc.

Something Important For The Lovely Food Lovers

If you are a food lover and enjoy trying different cuisines, then you are in the right place. Delhi provides not only Indian Cuisine but also have the options of many International Cuisines as well. Chinese, Mexican, Mughlai, etc., whatever cuisines you want to eat, you name it and you will find it in Delhi, though it is very much recommended to definitely try every Indian Cuisines in Delhi at least once. Only then you will get to know the real flavour of Delhi and Delhites’ love for food.

A unique style of cooking is what Delhi is famous for. Ranging from Biryani, Kebabs, etc. to the city’s classic Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer, Kadai Paneer, Chole Rice, Rajma Rice, Tandoori Naan, etc. in the main course, Delhi also offers various mouth-watering chaat options as well such as Chole- Bhature, Aloo Chaat, Aloo Tikki, Papdi Chaat, Samosa, Kachori, etc but what grabs most of the attention is the tempting Gol Gappa, also known as Pani Puri. And then we have a variety of sweets as well. You can opt from Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Lassi, etplaces.c. Many seasonal varieties are also available like you can have Gajar Halwa and Moong Dal Halwa in Winters and Ghevar in Saawan.
