Amsterdam is an amazing city, which everyone should visit at least once in their lives. First of all, it is a city of contrasts. On the one hand, the city breaks all stereotypes, free love, and other entertainments are welcomed here. On the other hand, the city has a very rich cultural heritage, only to recall such names as van Gogh or Rembrandt. It is here that the famous wax museum Madame Tussauds, as well as the equally famous Royal Palace. Dam Square is endowed with a rich history, and now it is a favorite place for hundreds of tourists vacationing from sightseeing nearby.

  

From the Dam square go to Kalverstraat, the main shopping street of Amsterdam.Here a paradise for those who love shopping.On the street are various famous brands. Not far from here do not forget to visit the flower market De Bloemenmarkt.It is the only floating flower market in the world and, perhaps, the most colorful and fragrant landmark of the city. Here you will find a variety of types of tulips that you can imagine.Not looking at the fact that this is a popular tourist place here you will buy the cheapest flower bulbs and other souvenirs. One more thing that must be brought from Netherlands is cheese. Cheese shops are located on every corner where you will be offered to try all the products.

  

Special attention should be given to the main type of transport in Amsterdam. Bike paths cross the entire city and cyclists take priority on the road, so be careful when crossing the road. If you are confident in your abilities, you also can take the bicycle for rent and drive the whole city on it.

Also near the square closest to the sea is the Station Amsterdam Centraal, which is an important tourist attraction due to its unique architectural solutions both inside and outside. If you go in the opposite direction you will go to the famous Red Light District. It is best to visit this place in the evening to feel a special atmosphere.

The real symbol of Amsterdam, as well as an important cultural and historical value, are undoubtedly the canals. Visiting the Netherlands will not be complete if you do not enjoy the splendor of these water structures. Another good option to look at the old town is to take a walk on the boat. These excursions are located on each river canal. You are rolled on the main waterways with access to the sea. From these walk, you will get unforgettable emotions and impressions.

 

Those wishing to admire the marvelous panorama of Amsterdam should climb the large terrace on the roof of the building, breaking 120 steps (22 m above sea level). Amsterdam’s art and views

Since the first day we fully dedicated the historic part of the city than on the second day we will visit the other picturesque areas of Amsterdam. Two-meter letters I AMSTERDAM – one of the most recognizable places in the city. They are located directly on the museum square opposite the Rijksmuseum, so this photo session is easy and convenient to combine with museum leisure. The Rijksmuseum will also be in the picture! 

 

In addition to The Rijksmuseum, there is the famous Van Gogh Museum.In it, you will find well-known works of the artist and also enjoy the modern decision of the building. Except for a permanent exhibition, there are temporary exhibitions of other artists. Also on the museum square, you will find the works of such famous artists as Salvador Dali or Banksy. 

   

Also, you need to visit amazing city parks such as Vondelpark. Here everyone will find entertainment for themselves – yoga, morning jogging, catamaran ride or just sitting on the grass.

An excellent completion of a two-day trip will be visiting the observation deck.
